The free wifi here is BEYOND slow (there are maybe 3 other customers here this morning). Which is kind of ridiculous, considering this location is new and is set up like an internet cafe with work stations. I won't be coming back here to try to get work done. I can't even hook up to a hot spot here because for some reason the Verizon network doesn't reach here successfully. But lookit this pastry....
To be fair, I've been here for lunch a few times and their food is decent. One time the salad was defrosted or something, but other stuff was ok.
This Panera continues to be a complete and utter disappointment. It's always dirty...ALWAYS. I am attaching photos of the dining room at 4:00 on a Friday. There was barely anywhere to sit because practically every table was dirty.
They are slow. They do everything slowly. They take your order slow. They prepare your food slowly. They clean up slowly...if ever? They can't answer your questions. They are constantly out of cookies in the middle of dinner.
The portions are so small yet it's so expensive. I can go to an actual sit down restaurant and have more food for the same price. You order a salad here and you can count the amount of lettuce leaves in your bowl on two hands.
They don't appear to have paper menus but the font of their menu items up on the wall above the register is so small and shoved together that it's difficult to read...even with good eyesight. Even worse than that, it doesn't even tell you the ingredients except for the ingredients blatantly stated in the name of whatever it is you are ordering. So you have to wait to get to the counter to ask the person at the register who will read it off of the screen and this ultimately slows the line down.
Their rewards program is worse than any other I am a part of. I've been visiting since it opened and I've yet to earn a reward. What kind of incentive is that? I feel like I must need to come here once a week for five years straight just to earn a dang cookie. I might as well buy one!
It's a shame that this is a new location in a great spot with lots of space inside and it's evident that management clearly has 0 desire to manage and the employees take 0 pride in their work. If either was the case, this place wouldn't be so dirty and slow moving all of the time.
It's truly a shame that they opened this brand new shopping center and acted like it was going to be some amazing, grand, promenade. The blueprints even looked that way. Meanwhile, it's a bunch of crappy chain stores shoved in the middle of dirt piles with run down, has been department stores that no one over the age of 20 even wants to walk into.
Get it together, Panera! Find some new management, MANAGE the place, hire employees that care and clean off the tables so people can sit. It's not even busy so you have no excuse for it to look the way it does all of the time. I've literally never come in and it NOT looked dirty. Like someone else said, if this is how it looks where customers can see what's going on, I would hate to know what it looks like in the back where we can't see!
The place is always dirty even though it was built recently. Every time I visit the dining area smells. The floors are sticky, and trash are everywhere and they just opened for the day. The front door is nasty, something was spilled on it and it is there day after day.
You guys really need to clean up your act. I'm starting to wonder if that's the customer facing facility how is it on the inside where you prepare our food?
I will retract my review if I get a response from the manager and I see some changes.
Great place to eat if you don't mind sitting in filth. Floors and counters were disgusting. Bread was overcooked covered in salt. Dishes were piled up by the trash can. Manager was busy doing interviews and not caring about the filth. Wrong size lids for small cups. Place could be beautiful if employees cared!
Had a nice lunch here today with my daughter and everything was great. This location has only been open a few weeks, and the staff is doing a great job so far running the place. I hadn't been to a Panera in a while, because I had been feeling that they were raising the prices and serving skimpier portions.
Yes, I still think the prices are a bit on the high side ($28 for two you pick two combos and two drinks - almost 15 bucks apiece!?!) because I know of plenty of other places I can get a real nice salad or sandwich and a drink for more like 10 or 12 bucks. But at least today, I felt like the size and quality of the food was more worth it.
The place was packed with a line the entire time we were there and the staff handled it smoothly and didn't seem stressed at all. Kudos to them. Since it is on my route to work, I plan to stop in for breakfast sometime if I have a little extra time. I think this Panera is a great addition to the area and will do a good business here.
